In addition to more than ten years of direct involvement in the wireless trade, she has excelled in the medical, electronics, mechanical, food, travel, apparel, footwear, and cosmetics industries.
As Director of Marketing for Body Glove Wireless Accessories, Ms. Mech overhauled product packaging, successfully launched 10 new product lines, increased publicity and supported numerous retailers, distributors and sales associates, enabling revenue growth of 600% over 4 years. Her marketing results allowed the brand to be leveraged in its sale to Fellowes, Inc.
As Director of Marketing for PV Footwear, Ms. Mech headed product development, designed advertising campaigns, executed a public relations program, devised training for the national sales force, planned tradeshow exhibits and was personally responsible for the company's top two national accounts (Famous Footwear and Lady Foot Locker). Her efforts contributed to the growth of this startup into a multi-million dollar international organization.
Ms. Mech is grateful for her success and strives to give back by utilizing her talents to help others. She actively serves on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clarita Valley and Sylmar homeless shelters. She regularly supports the Big Brothers and Sisters of Los Angeles, St. Jude's Foundation, and the American Red Cross. Ms. Mech also believes in helping women entrepreneurs become successful and serves as a mentor.
